These previously unreleased songs, "Esther C." and "Take a Ride," were recorded live from the board to MiniDisc at the Stanford Coffee House on March 11, 2000. "Esther C." is a rootsy-cajun flavored number (à la Little Feat or the Subdudes), while "Take a Ride" is an ethereal, alt-rock ballad.

The Stanford gig was a homecoming for Greg (read about it here). This recording features the "cafe" touring line-up:
